What with the Cyber Monday deals the other day, I snagged a bunch of ebooks from O’Reilly:

• Sinatra: Up and Running
• Think Stats
• Programming Web Services with Erlang
• Hacking: The Next Generation

This should give me plenty to read over the upcoming holidays. I’ve already started in on the books on Sinatra and Erlang web services—so far so good! Reviews forthcoming once I’m finished.

Think Stats was an unusual choice for me, but I thought it an opportunity to learn…

I’m migrating my blog here from its previous home on Github Pages, powered by Jekyll. It was a good run, and I especially enjoyed using Git/GitHub, Markdown and Vim to do my bloggin’. I’ve decided to move on for the time being.

Posterous has some great features (not much beyond what I need), and it’s a solid platform. I also feel that the convenience and mixed-media blogging aspects of Posterous will encourage me to update more frequently.
